On 13 September Peter Burgers and Jacob Stenfert founded a new company in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. By taking the first 2 letters of both their first names, the company Peja was born. They start to import household appliances from Germany. During the 2nd World War these imports ceased abruptly and activities were shifted to other product lines such as bakery ingredients and timber.
